40 years young.

Hi fans, hahaha, hope you are all well, and keeping  warm and dry. in this slit your throat weather we are having lately. Having said that the sun is doing it's best to come out. But the wind is very strong here on top of my hill.
This is a card I have made  my Niece for her big birthday.  The image is a JS would you know.  From her Enchanted Dreams cd. Taurus the Bull, from the Horoscope section.  The corners and the flowers were very kindly given to me by Marilyn. I used my duster brushes and distress inks to shade them, and the edges of the card.

Back in the day. / A nice Cuppa

Evening all Lol I sound like Dixon of Dock Green. I wonder just how many of you will remember that , from back in the day. They don't make progs like that anymore. Thank heaven I hear you all say. hahaha

I actually made a card today. It is for my SIL in Ireland. Another image from a JS cd, The Heart of the Garden. I can see why it is Joanna's favourite of all her cd's.

Scrapping again

Well I have spent the last couple of days getting my pc back into reasonable working order. Haven't had any inclination to make cards. So I do CAP scrapping for relaxation. I love it. This one is my daughter 13 years ago. She looks a bit different now as she had dyed her hair dark brown. She know how I feel about it but that is another story. lol

I am really enjoying playing with CAP at the moment. I must get round to buying a nice album. so that I can print them off and put them in. This one is a favourite photo of mine. It is my Dad along with his Grand Parents  (my Great ). Not to sure of the year but I would say it was about 1930. It was on the beach at Weymouth. Can you believe the way they dressed for the beach in those days. They would have been so shocked if they could see people today.

I am getting carried away with Scrapping now. I have done this one of my Son's wedding to the lovely Nina.

Scrapping

23.50 and I have just decided to blog lol. My family would say typical. I joined a new group tonight for Craft Artist.  I have learnt something already.  I thought I would put on a couple of the scrapbook pages I made a short while ago. They are of and for a young friend of mine. The one is Vicky as a child and as she is now. the other is her and her mother, both then and now.

This is a card I have made for a very dear friend of mine. Her birthday is next Monday. Her son is taking her to London this weekend to see Phantom. Barbara you would not want to be this Barbara, she has Leukemia.

Well I am being nagged to post, so I thought I had better give it a go.
It is proper April weather here today, sunshine and showers. but it is soooo cold.

The bride and groom are back from their honeymoon. Down to earth with a bump, back to work suffering from jet lag. I  Took a few photo's of the lovely bouquet that I was given at the wedding.  Some of the flowers are still looking good. The head table display, also came home with me, and it nearly killed me, beautiful as it was. I think that it had been sprayed with something to make it last. I was sooo allergic to it. I thought I had a cold, but it wasn't. I have never sneezed so much in my life. After a few days I was ok.
