Out with the Old and in with the New
Well what a mixed bag this year has been. We started it off in early March by losing a very dear member of the family. Then the wedding of my lovely Son and the gorgeous Nina. We then then had a birth, our lovely wee Great nephew Ryan. So we had a Hatched Matched and Dispatched year, but in the reverse order.
So I thought I would show you the last Card I made for this year, and the first card made for the next year. So we are off and running. Will try to keep ahead of trouble, and hope you all do the same. Happy New Year to all of my lovely Blogland friends. Here's hoping it is all you wish for and more. Thanks for keeping my spirits up when I have needed it. I'll raise my glass to you all sláinte xxxx

Christmas Candle partie deux
I have had another go this time with a smaller candle. I used another of the stamps form the set Elaine bought me. I love them. This one is a much more delicate image and doesn't photo very well. But I think it is pretty. Again I used JS detail EP .
The two of them together don't look to bad do they??
Let me know what you think xxx

Christmas Candle
This is my very first attempt at decorating a candle. I have to say I am quite pleased with it. The photo does not do it justice.
Using versamark I stamped an image (one of a set that I was given by Elaine for my birthday) on to the mat side of a piece of regular tissue paper.. I then used some fine detail antique gold embossing powder from Joanna Sheen, then very carefully heated it. I then wrapped the image around large candle. Then wrapped this with a sheet of parchment paper. Then heated it until I could see it change colour. I then removed the parchment and buffed up the candle with a clean soft cloth, and voila.
Please let me know what you think of it xx

Christmas cards
This one I did on Cap then I printed the tag and the figure out and put on separately.
This one doesn't show on here but it is all gold and cream. I think it looks a lot nicer in the flesh.
This is a Popcorn the bear card. First one I have made with him. I don't think Ryan will take much notice, but Kate might lol
I hope you like my cards and please leave me a comment. xxx
